Really hard to just think of one. But I really love The Count Of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. It’s just epic. You think you know the story but you don’t until you read this monster of a book. More twists and turns than an Alpine Pass
‘Me before you’ by Jojo Moyes draws you in from the first page. It’s warm, funny and touching.
It’s a modern love story with plenty of complications, including issues around disability, and you might well cry your eyes out at the end, but it’s beautifully written and well worth a read.
Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier
